16 reviewsTsum Valley has been remote for many years and has only been accessible to foreign travelers since 2008. The local population has authentically maintained its Buddhist culture, religion, and architecture. The Tsum Valley Trek offers stunning views of the Himalayas, including the Ganesh, Siringi, and Buddha Himal ranges. "Tsum" comes from the word "Tsombo," which means colorful. The Trek is adorned with prayer flags, Tsortens, and mani walls, making it a worthwhile experience.
The entire circuit offers breathtaking views. This challenging trail has less traffic and remains untouched by modernization and urbanization. It's more of a pilgrimage trek through the open air than a regular trek.
The Tsum Valley Trek was once a place for contemplation and rejuvenation. Thousands of stone carvings with ancient inscriptions show evidence of the region's history. Throughout the Tsum Valley, you can also spot abundant wildlife, such as the Himalayan Thar and blue sheep, which will surely excite adventure seekers.
The Tsum Valley Trek is highly recommended for those interested in observing the unique cultures and traditions of the locals. Completing the entire circuit will take at least three weeks if you wish to combine it with the best possible side trips to the Manaslu Circuit Trek.

Arughat Bazaar is the beginning of a Tsum Valley Trek as it passes the charming villages to Mu Gompa. The trail continues along the Manaslu trek while the route separates from Ekle Bhatti. Then, it goes to Lokpa, climbs Mu Gompa, and passes through the small villages. These valleys are followed with knowledge of the region's unusual landscape, which includes rugged terrains, lush forests, unique rock formations, and Buddhist influences.
A side trip to the Ganesh Himal Base camp rewards spectacular views, while you can see the Ganesh Himal scenery and other sister peaks. In fact, on the way to Manaslu Circuit Trek, the Trek will expand until you reach two valleys in a single excursion. Acclimatization is, therefore, necessary to carry out the Trek, and a good physique is mandatory.

I did this trek in Upper Mustang with my sisters, and it was an incredible experience. Everything was very well organized, and we truly enjoyed every part of the journey. I also highly recommend kumar as a guide – he was knowledgeable, helpful, and made the trek even more special. A truly unforgettable adventure!
I did the Phoksundo Lake trek with Kumar and it was a superb experience. It is an adventure, so you have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone, but Kumar always adapts to the unexpected and makes the trip as enjoyable as possible! The landscapes are magnificent, you meet lots of people along the way, and you really push your limits! Kumar is an excellent guide attentive, friendly, and his prices are very fair!
I recently did an annapurna curcit with my brother and his girlfriend. It was an amazing trek with the help of kumar and his team . It was one of the best experience of our life . The annapurna curcit is the best of the treks that people can choose for. I sincerely recommend this company for other travellers.
The 18-day Lower and Upper Dolpo tour was individually tailored to our needs by Kumar. Kumar had put together a great team of guide, cook and mule guide. This team fulfilled all of our wishes at all times during the entire tent trek. Narsang, our guide, is very attentive and careful along the entire route. Kumar is very reliable. He looked after us very well in the preparation and execution of our trek and during our stay in Kathmandu right up to the farewell at the airport.
